UK Work Permit Information

If a prospective employee is not otherwise
exempt from the need for an immigration clearance to work in
the UK then it will be necessary to apply for a work permit.
The ability to obtain a work permit is
measured against a number of criteria including:
• whether there is a genuine vacancy
for an employee in this country
• whether the skills, qualifications
and experience needed to do the job meet specific requirements;
• whether the person is suitably
qualified or experienced to do the job on offer and whether
there is a need for them to do the job on offer; and
• whether there are suitably qualified
or experienced 'resident workers'.
A work permit application is made by the
employer to Work Permits UK.
We can complete and submit applications
on behalf of employers and/or review draft applications before
submission. We also assist on the additional need to require
an entry clearance before travel and the requirements for spouse
and dependants.
